The “Pass Me a Busch” Twitter campaign asked the Busch Army to give us a good reason why they deserved some celebratory funds. Then we sent thousands of bucks to the best responses, in real time throughout the day, via CashApp.

Special “power hours” with even more giveaways helped game engagement all day long.

It crushed.

Not only did we make Busch Light the most talked-about beer brand on National Beer Day—it was the most talked-about topic on Twitter that day, period, out-competing conversation around Major League Baseball’s Opening Day and the first day of the Masters. It also gained the brand thousands of followers—one of the biggest days of growth they’ve seen on Twitter.
